About Tailor's Touch

A studio for garment remodelling

Tailor's Touch works on clothing that deserves a second life, from fit adjustments to thoughtful remodelling. Every project begins with a close look at the garment, its fabric, and what the construction can support.

Remodelling garments with care

We help customers update pieces they already value, whether the goal is a better fit, a refreshed shape, or a new use for fabric that still has life in it. Our work is guided by the condition of the garment and the possibilities within the original material.

From vintage pieces to sentimental favourites, each project is handled with a practical eye and a careful finish. We explain the options clearly before work begins so you can approve a concept that suits the garment and the result you want.

What we value

A careful process with a creative outcome

Our approach is shaped by careful assessment, honest guidance, and a focus on garments that deserve to be worn again.

01

Inspection first

We begin with inspection, not assumptions. The garment is assessed first so the quotation and project plan reflect its structure, fabric, and any limits that affect the result.

02

Clear concept review

When a redesign is possible, we map out the concept before any work begins. That keeps the process clear and gives you a chance to approve the direction.

03

Material reuse

We aim to reuse strong parts of the original piece wherever practical. That approach supports upcycling while keeping the work grounded in what the garment can actually do.

04

Practical communication

We value straightforward communication about fit, timing, and materials. If matching thread, trims, or other items are needed, they are confirmed before the project moves ahead.

Our story

Designed around the life of each garment

Built for people who want to keep wearing what they already own, Tailor's Touch brings tailoring skill to redesign, alteration, and reuse.

The studio was founded to give garments a more useful and longer-lasting future. Instead of treating clothing as disposable, we look at what can be altered, reshaped, or reused with care.

Our process is appointment-led, which allows time for assessment, discussion, and a realistic quotation based on the garment itself. That includes the fabric, seams, condition, and the requested change.

We work with customers who want a better fit, a refreshed style, or a creative upcycling project that respects the original piece.
